WE ARE HIRING!  LIVE AND WORK IN THE MOUNTAINS THIS SUMMER!

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to live and work onsite at the Colorado Mountain Ranch  for the minimum time of May 25 to August 14, which includes a week of pre-camp training. Prior experience with children is a plus and references are required.

Applicants must have a Social Security Number or a J-1 Visa.

Are you looking to get outside, work hard, be a leader, and have fun in the mountains this summer?  About 40 staff members live and work in a beautiful mountain setting at our ranch each summer, where they instruct, inspire, and lead children ages 7-17.  Our family-run summer day camp is at 8,500' in the Front Range.  We seek energetic, fun-loving, and dedicated live-in people to join our team.

Colorado Mountain Ranch is Boulder's Original Summer Day Camp for children and teenagers. Our staff develops into a close-knit residential community of people who enjoy staying active outdoors in the mountains and working with children. The Ranch is a special place where people connect for outdoor active fun.

Colorado Mountain Ranch is on a ridge of wildflower meadows and forests above Boulder, featuring views of the snow-capped peaks of the Continental divide and the beautiful city lights below. The Walker Family established the property bordering the historic gold-mining town of Gold Hill as a children's summer camp in 1947.

Positions include activity instructors, children's group counselors, horse wranglers, bus drivers, general maintenance, kitchen staff, and office assistant.

We are proud to offer traditional programming, such as horseback riding, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor living, gymnastics and trampolines, as well as innovative activities such as teambuilding, mountainboarding, organic gardening, and disc golf, to name a few.
