Colorado Ski Resort Jobs – Checking Out Winter Park Resort

26 Colorado ski resorts. I didn’t even know the exact count until I read Colorado.com’s Colorado’s Skiing and Snowboarding Season has Arrived which lists the opening dates for all 26 resorts.

With the majority of the resorts opening next month, now is the time to head up to the high country and get your winter job!

After Winter Park Resort posted their seasonal jobs, I decided to check out some of their unique benefits. As an Intrawest Resort, employees not only get a free ski pass for Steamboat and Copper Mountain, they also get to ski free at Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk, Crested Butte, Durango Mountain, Eldora, Loveland, Steamboat, Sunlight and Telluride. If you are going to spend the winter in Colorado, why not check out the skiing throughout the rest of the state.

As for the city side of you (if you have one) … Denver is just a mere 67 miles away. They even have the Ski Train which runs between Denver and Winter Park during both the winter and summer season. A nice set-up. You can live in a really small mountain town, work at a resort with over 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, be close to the city when you need a quick urban fix, and last but not least … be surrounded by 25 other ski resorts around Colorado for your visiting and skiing pleasure. Or you can choose to live in Winter Park during ski season, and look for Denver apartments to live in for the other parts of the year.

  1. The partnership with Copper Mountain, Winter Park and Snowmass has made for some great employee perks. The fact that they have deals with other resorts too just adds to the list of reasons to work at any one of them! Why not ski free?

  2. thank you

  3. I am a seasonal wildland firefighter in Tucson, AZ. I would love to work on a ski mountain in CO. I have been snowboarding for about 6 years. I have my EMT basic certification and i am a very hard worker!
