Mountain Summer – Ski Resorts Celebrate Summer

Even if you are a die hard skier, keep in mind that closing day of the ski season in no way represents the end of ski resort celebrations. Can’t underestimate the ski town summer; there is a reason for that local saying, “I came here for the winter, but stayed for the summer”.

Ski season ends and the off-season commonly finds locals heading out for a beach holiday or a hometown visit. Then it’s back to the high country where one is quickly reminded of why they chose to live there.

Considering a move to a ski town? Does the current economy and a challenging job search have you feeling frustrated and unsure? This is a great time to travel around the mountains; no time like the present to get out there and explore. Not actually being able to make the move right at this time doesn’t have to mean the end to your dream. Make the trip part of your journey, a step in the right direction towards your long term goal.

Among the long list of outdoor summer activities, biking, hiking, climbing, fishing, and kayaking along with a host of festivals and events all summer long.
