This is a great opportunity to operate at a "state of the art" Ambulatory Surgical Center that opened in February 2023, the Loma Linda Surgical Institute (LLSI). LLSI has 2 OR rooms designed exclusively for cataract/IOL surgery, including MIGS procedures. This facility is 50% owned by the Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, the physician corporation for Loma Linda University. The Medical Director is Michael Rauser, MD, the Chair of the Loma Linda University Eye Institute. LLSI provides ample OR efficiencies, allowing 20+ cataract cases per day per surgeon. In combination with OR capabilities at the Loma Linda University Outpatient Surgical Center and LLU Medical Center, we can provide surgical care in a timely manner within the OR environment that is most appropriate to patient complexity and co-morbidities. Our surgeons have the same OR capabilities as the most efficient private practices in our region. This is critical as we strive to pay fair wages to our surgeons and maintain financial stability in a declining reimbursement environment. Join us to impact a diverse population and enhance a legacy of clinical excellence.
