Description
We
are seeking a highly skilled Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician to
provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. in Lehi, UT. This
role involves working in an inpatient setting, covering emergency room cases,
and providing general cardiology call services at a Level 4 trauma center. The
physician will be responsible for performing critical interventional cardiology
procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, coronary
angioplasty and stents, balloon pump/Impella insertions, transesophageal
echocardiograms, and pacemaker placements. The position requires collaboration
with a multidisciplinary team that includes Echo Techs, Lab Techs, RNs, X-ray
Techs, and Nuclear Techs to deliver high-quality patient care. Documentation
and patient management are conducted using the EPIC electronic medical records
(EMR) system. The support staff
available for this position includes Echo Techs, Lab Techs, Registered Nurses
(RNs), X-ray Techs, and Nuclear Techs, providing comprehensive assistance in
managing cardiac patients. Candidates must be board-certified in Cardiology and
possess an active Utah medical license. Certification in Basic Life Support
(BLS) and a DEA license are also required for this role.
